ZHICHENG clean benches are designed for tissue culture, electronics inspection, medical device assembly and pharmacy drug preparation under ISO Class 5 (formerly Class 100) conditions to prevent airborne contaminations. The clean benches offer a perfect balance of quality, performance and cost-effectiveness. The clean benches use the 99.98% efficiency HEPA filter system that provides excellent product protection and is fully compliant to major international standards of Class 100 and US FS209E. Typical uses are for drug compounding, culturing medium preparation, plant and tissue cell cultures, microelectronics inspection and assembly.
To ensure complete protection to product samples, the clean benches feature a high sensitivity level filter fault detector sensor within the workzone that enables for the permanent monitoring of the air velocity, once the sensor detects a drop of the airflow speed, the built-in alarm is triggered to warn of filter fault or saturation. The non-glare SUS304 type stainless steel interior provides better cleanability of the work zone, and the modular design makes the clean benches the most cost effective to purchase and to maintain.
During operation, room air is drawn through a pre-filter in the top of the cabinet to trap large particles. Air flows through a HEPA filter and is projected vertically or horizontally over the workarea. The positive pressure laminar airflow provides product protection within the workarea. The HEPA-filtered air prevents contaminants from entering the work area and provides a particulate free work environment that minimizes cross contamination. The clean air in the workarea meets or exceeds ISO Standard Class 5 conditions defined per ISO Standard 14644-1 and Class 100 conditions as defined by Federal Standard 209E.
